David “Dave” Martin Threlkeld

David “Dave” Martin Threlkeld, 56, of Fayetteville passed away February 5, 2018.  Dave was a native of Dallas, TX and lived in Fayetteville the last 11 years. He was a licensed funeral director with Mowell Funeral Home, as well as the owner/operator of Dave’s Pool Service. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Fayetteville Ward). Dave was a loving husband and father and was a friend to all.

Dave was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Don Frederick. He is survived by his wife, Tracy Threlkeld; son Taylor and fiancé, Ann-Sofia Olsson; daughters, Shelby, M’Kenzie, and Kelsey; mother, Dorla Threlkeld; and sister, Gretta Cressey.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2021 Redwine Road, Fayetteville, GA 30215. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM prior to the service at the church. A reception in honor of Dave’s life will follow the service at the church.
