Cora Mae Bussey Cumbie, age 89, of Lilburn, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017.  

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Bill Head Funeral Home, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel.  Interment will be in Eternal Hills Memory Gardens in Snellville.  

A native of Montgomery, AL, Mrs. Cumbie was retired from the CDC.  She was a long time member of Corinth Baptist Church in Stone Mountain and was currently attending Mountain Park First Baptist Church.  

She was preceded in death by her sons, Van Eugene Coffey and Van Cumbie.  Survivors include her husband, Carlyen Cumbie of Lilburn; son, John Cumbie of Monroe; daughter, Carlene Adams of Stone Mountain; grandchildren, John Cumbie of Good Hope, Samantha White of Loganville, Kelli Adams and Kyle Adams, both of Stone Mountain; brother, Colvin Bussey of Centerville; sister, Alice Curran of Oxford.  

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Bill Head Funeral Homes & Crematory, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, (770) 564-2726.
