Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer - Full Time

A family owned funeral home in Northwest Georgia is hiring for a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer.

General Duties/Responsibilities - Including, but not limited to:

  • Funeral planning
  • Embalming
  • Pre-Planning
  • Directing and overseeing funerals, viewings, and visitations
  • Funeral set-up and breakdown
  • Preparation of deceased for burial, cremation, viewings, and transport
  • Prepare and publish obituaries
  • Proof and file death certificates
  • On call nights and weekends as scheduled
  • Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

  • Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the State of Georgia
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Must pass a background check

Compensation and Benefits: These will be discussed during interview.
