A Message from Your Treasurer

AGEG
Objective / Views

I have been associated with AGEG for a number of years. I have always looked forward to our annual clinic and meeting up with my many friends and colleagues throughout this great state that are affiliated with the funeral industry. I am so pleased to have been asked to serve on the academy board and it has been an honor to do so. I am convinced that there is no other organization like ours in the U.S. and it makes me proud to be part of the Academy of Graduate Embalmers of Georgia.

We as funeral professionals should be thankful that over fifty years back a group of funeral professionals decided that such and organization was necessary for furthering our skills and enhancing relationships in the state of Georgia and beyond in the death care industry. The AGEG has grown to offer continuing education in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama and Florida.

We are part of a platinum organization that will continue to be strong and grow in the future. Please invite your co-workers, friends, and students that are affiliated with death care to join AGEG. Our website is updated and applications can be downloaded or you can contact a board member or our executive director for an application.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2010 AGEG Clinic to be held in Forsyth on April 12-13-14. The Holiday Inn Conference Center and the Georgia Public Safety Training Center will be our points of meeting.

Treasurer
