Fellow Academy Members,

I am honored to serve on the Board of the Academy of Graduate Embalmers of 
Georgia.  I look forward to the years ahead as we continue to improve on 
what has become perhaps the most successful funeral service association in 
the state!!

I spent the first few years working alongside my father in Homerville before 
graduating from Gupton-Jones College. I have been affiliated with Miles-Odum 
Funeral Home since August 2002.



I am married to the former Apryl Bateson of Homerville and we have two 
daughters, Alyssa and Clara Grace. Apryl is a First Grade Teacher. We are 
members of Trinity United Methodist Church where we take an active part in 
our church's ministries.

Our profession faces new challenges everyday and your Academy strives to 
stay on the cutting edge in keeping you informed. Please contact me with
