I feel that one of the greatest professional honors I have received was when I was elected by each of you to serve on the Board for the AGEG in 2007.
Since 2007 I along with other board members we have logged many miles traveling to and from our board meetings, hours of meetings and telephone calls at our own expense. I do this voluntarily because of the belief I have in the academy and the true professional comradery which it promotes the "Professionally Licensed Embalmer".

The Academy of Graduate Embalmers of Georgia, Inc. was founded in 1950 and is the second oldest Embalmers Associations in the country and without a doubt one of the best organized catering to the "Professionally Licensed Embalmer". Our academy affords each of us the opportunity to advance through the Continuing Education process on a yearly basis but also, the rare opportunity to have a large network of professionals with a great wealth of knowledge from which we each can draw expertise from.
Because of each of you and the commitment you have made to the Academy of Graduate Embalmers of Georgia through your membership and attendance along with our sponsor's we have a strong organization.
I look forward to seeing each of you April 11 - 14, 2010 in Forsyth.
DAVID E. ADAMS, MBIE,CFSP
